Four Bastards and a Baby

Why it is on our radar

Baldree turns from the everyday comforts of Legends & Lattes toward a dungeon adventure. The new setting gives established readers a clear distinction between this book and his earlier cozy-fantasy world.

About the book

Half-devil Brindle is offered escape from the Deepdown if he carries a mysterious egg through its deadly, changing dungeon. His unlikely companions are difficult enough to manage before the egg hatches into a human baby, transforming the journey’s stakes.
